“There was someone called Hippasus in Greek times who found out about the diagonal of a square and they drowned him because no one wanted to know about things like that.”
With 52 scenes, seven sections and over a 100 characters, Caryl Churchill’s Love and Information is a vibrant series of short scenes inspired by the twin themes of the title.
Some funny, others poignant and many powerful, these snippets of life analyse how humanity endeavours to make sense of both ourselves and the world around us, with Churchill’s great tenderness and an exacting knife.
