Beth is a queer director and dramaturg working on politically charged new writing projects; giving collaborators a space to playfully develop new work. She is a creative lead at Thalia Arts Company (an LGBTQIA+ company who brign together queer creatives to create comedic and heart-warming theatre centring LGBTQIA+ people and their day-to-day experiences).

After graduating LAMDA in 2020, they have worked as a director on the London fringe theatre scene, creating collaborative, generous spaces where artists have felt able to share their personal stories. She has consistently sought out and initiated projects allowing her to explore queer experiences and to explore stories where characters find their place in the world.

Her background in Mathematics brings with it an enthusiasm for non-traditional forms and structures; both within the process of making and in the end product on stage. Beth is always looking to connect with innovative creatives hoping to work with a fluid hierarchy and create a nurturing, ambitious environment within which to develop a inventive, new storytelling.

As an assistant director, they have worked regionally out in Hertfordshire as well as extensively during training at LAMDA. Through these positions, she has utilised her compassion, commitment and ingenuity to support others in their process; including forming specific, detailed research documents and, leading warm ups and small group rehearsals.

Utilising dramaturgical training she recieved whilst at LAMDA, Beth works as a script reader and literary assistant providing reports for literary managers and feedback to be sent directly to writers. This gives them experiences of the stages of creating new work; an ability to note constructively and specifically, and a keen knowledge of a writers process.
